Type 2 diabetes is a common lifestyle disorder caused by insulin resistance with relative insulin deficiency, resulting in chronic hyperglycemia and various cardiovascular complications. Several studies have shown that yoga practice can do more than just relax your body and mind — especially if you’re living with a diabetic condition. Certain yoga poses can tackle the pathophysiologic mechanisms of diabetes and helps in controlling its complications. It may help to lower blood pressure and blood sugar levels and can improve blood circulation. The following Yoga Cycle is especially designed for people with a diabetic condition. The regular practice of this Cycle can keep diabetes symptoms under control and improve the overall quality of life.
